Throughout the summer, we participated in a number of Westside Regional Center (WRC) resource events. Here’s a recap of the events we attended and the communities we reached.
June
Our CEO, David Sonnenschein, and our Customer Care Specialist, Xandria Jaravata, attended the resource fair on June 12th to showcase our Sing and Speak 4 Kids program. The event was well attended and introduced Xandria to the WRC community.
“I had a wonderful time connecting with families and the WRC staff in person to talk about our program and gain some potential new clients,” said Xandria.
July
At the July 31st event, Xandria interacted with various families and parents to share information about our game. One of the families had already signed up for SS4Kids, and their child played the game on-site and enjoyed it! Xandria also spoke with service coordinators and caseworkers about SS4Kids. Caseworkers and Service Coordinators refer our game to their clients so that children may benefit from gameplay. In the spirit of building community and exploring opportunities for future partnerships, Xandria and David also had the chance to talk to other resources present at the event.
